The security of your information, transactions, and money is the core of our business and our top priority for us. We pride ourselves in taking extra measures to protect you so we’ll have you as a client for years to come.

We automatically encrypt your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Our server checks that you’re using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher, before you even login to our site. Once your information reaches us, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. Our servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is available only to authorized computers.

If you visit our site to browse, or to read or download information:

We collect and store: the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet (for example, aol.com or princeton.edu); the Internet protocol (IP) address of the computer you are using; the browser software you use and your operating system; the date and time you access our site; and the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our site. We use this information to measure the number of visitors to the different sections of our site, and to help us make our site more useful. Generally, we delete this information after one year.

Our site uses cookies to keep track of your activities and to save your password so you don’t have to re-enter it each time you visit our site. “Cookies” can make the Web easier to use, by storing your preference or customization information for a particular site. “Cookies” are considered an industry standard and do not identify an individual user, though they do identify a user’s computer. Here’s what you should know about the security of the information you provide to us:

All the information you provide us through these forms is stored securely offline.

If you send us an email, you should know that email is not necessarily secure against interception. So, if your communication includes sensitive information like your bank account, charge card, or social security number, and you prefer not to use one of our secure online complaint forms, contact us by postal mail, telephone or fax rather than email.

Additional security features:

Bank account numbers never appear on screen after you enter them, so even if someone stole your account password he would not have access to that data.
We send you an email confirmation for every transaction in our system involving your bank account, so you don’t have to worry about unauthorized persons transferring money from your account.
